Tui Na Massage

Tui Na is one of the oldest forms of massage and finds its origins in ancient China. It is part of the four main pillars of Traditional Chinese medicine along with Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine and Chi Gong.

It works by releasing blockages and imbalances in the body and is done by using acupressure, deep and light tissue massage and joint manipulation.

Alongside this, clients will often be prescribed specific exercises and/or Chi Gong to help aid in their recovery.

Tui Na is used to treat many conditions including back, neck and shoulder pain, joint, tendon, muscle pain and immobility, sciatica, sports injuries, poor circulation, headaches, and insomnia.

A massage can be done laying down or while seated, directly to the skin using oils or Dit Da Yao (medicinal oil) or through clothing or a cloth.

Deep relaxing massage is also offered. It uses broad sweeping movements and acupressure to release the tension from the body and mind, leaving you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
