New Tai Chi & Xing Yi Classes this Spring!

There are lots of new things happening at Three Treasures this Spring.

What to expect from the Tai Chi & Xing Yi classes?

In these classes we will look at how to align the body, build a strong connection to the ground and link the entire body together. So that when we move, we do so in a relaxed, powerful and dynamic way. With the Mind, Breath and Body working as one.

We use held postures, short forms (moves connected together in a flow), animal patterns and sometimes even Spears to create movement that can be gentle and flowing or fast and explosive.

Tai Chi and Xing Yi transforms the white tissues, muscles and bones, deepens the breath and focuses the mind.

Tai Chi & Xing Yi @ The Waresely Park Estate

I have started teaching at the beautiful Waresley Park Estate in Waresley at the bottom of Cambridgeshire (Just over the Bedfordshire border).

This is a stunning location, where they also run Yoga and Pilates classes and have Wild Swimming and a Sauna as well.

When the weather is good, we practice outside on the grass in front of the lake and fields, if it’s a bit cold or wet, I run the class inside of the huge Tipi that they have there.

My classes here are quite new, so I am starting at the beginning. We’re looking at How to build a strong, rooted and connected body and looking at the main Tai Chi form and Xing Yi forms as well. On Thursdays I also teach the Spear! This is great for connecting the hips and shoulders to the centre and greatly strengthening the tendons, muscles and bones, among other things.

Some people book onto a Wild Swim before or after a class as well, so this is a nice option.

These classes are open to people of all ages and skill levels.

I teach on Mondays at 3pm, Tuesdays at 8am and Thursdays at 6pm. To book a place, follow the link waresleyparkestate.co.uk.

New Tai Chi & Xing Yi class @ The Yoga Shed

I have been teaching at The Yoga Shed in Hitchin for over a year now. It’s a great place to teach with lovely spaces, great people and a nice Cafe with healthy snacks available too.

These classes are a mix of complete beginners to more advanced. Like most of my classes.

The 8am Monday morning class is a great way to start off the week. So, if you’re looking for a new early morning class, try the Yoga Shed. I also teach there on Wednesdays at 8am as well.

Three Treasures Gathering May 2026!

Every month I run a class that is open to all of the people I teach across all of the classes and anyone from outside that is interested too. The next Gathering will be on Saturday the 30th of May from 2:30pm until 4pm at The Howard Memorial Hall in Letchworth.

Each time we do a deep dive into one subject. This month we have something very interesting to look at, so don’t miss out!

It is £15 for the class and can be paid in cash on the day. Contact me to book your place.

Updated Class Timetable!

I have updated the timetable on the website, so check out all of the new classes and class times. We have a lot available now!

If you have questions about these or any of the classes that I teach, please contact me. I am currently teaching five or six days a week and run classes that are open and open for all ages, all skill levels and physical abilities.
